What costs should I expect?

Your costs will include but may not be limited to:

  1. airplane payment
  2. fuel
  3. insurance
  4. maintenance / inspections
  5. hangar/tie down
  6. professional fees
  7. Management/marketing fee to flight school

While you, as the owner are responsible for all of the costs associated with the airplane, you also receive all of the revenue generated from it.  If the airplane flies enough (generally over 50 hours/month) you’ll have money to pay down your airplane after all of the bills are paid.  This will prevent you from getting “upside-down” in your airplane and you can take your profit when you sell your airplane.  In the meantime, you’ll enjoy lower taxes and hours of freedom and fun in your new airplane.
